Returns & Refund Policy

The Returns Policy pertains to two types of items: physical, and virtual/digital.

Physical items, e.g. books:

RETURN & REFUND: The Alam-e-Nau website sells print-on-demand books created using hybrid technology: computer-printed books handbound with a computer-printed cover. Very occasionally, it is possible that the pages are bound in the wrong order, and some other defect is left undetected, a process hazard. Only in the case of a DEFECTIVE product will returns & exchanges be accommodated. Please inform us within 48 hours of receipt of shipment and keep the receipts.

We are not responsible for the buyer not liking the content; book descriptions are provided prior to purchase on the site. The quality of print is checked before shipment, and in case of defects the above is applicable.

Because this is a relatively new technology, there is a margin of about 2-3% error including minor color bleeds and such. During the initial period of the business, we ask that these minor defects be deemed tolerable by the buyers and a return or exchange not initiated; however misaligned pages, perchance wrong cover, missing pages, misprinted pages or missing content is deemed worthy of replacement.

Virtual/Digital items:

Once a digital items has been sold, there is no refund or withdrawal. Please choose digital assets carefully.
