Craft, Artisans, and the Handmade Economy

This page is dedicated to the focus and theme area of Craft, Craftisans and Artisans, and the Handmade Economy.
In the view of the Alam-e-Nau founder Ramala Hubb’Allah, craft and the handmade economy is wherein lay the future of the decolonized world, and a happy, cool, vibrant, loving, calm, regenerative planet where life, love, art and labor is valued and deemed a form of gratitude to the Divine. Craft is slow, engages the body as well as the mind, it carries the soul and imprint of the craftisan, it sublimates the tremendous amounts of human energy that our chakras or bodily centers are generating. Craft solves, to a degree, the issues of mental and moral degradation currently faced as an epidemic in the human societies. Craft creates fairer and more just economies, as the pace of production is delimited by the natural capacity of the human body.
Craft cultivates pride and dignity, that is oddly humble and grounded. Craft ensures that vapors and fluids do not accumulate in the body, that lead the human to madness and disease.
Craft solves complex problems craftily.
This is why we are in favor of returning the world to a super-economy of craft, connection, and decolonization. We live but for a short while. Let us make the joyful and creative best of it, Amen.
