Food & Cuisine

In the era of climate shift, ensuring nutritious food supplies, and the development and promotion of an appropriate cuisine is a need of the times. This aspect of our initiatives deals with this need for nutrition, a solid supply chain, and development and dispersion of modern recipes that are rooted in nature and connected to valid traditional ideas that must go forward in this century and beyond.

Where food, nutrition, and cuisine are concerned, our core values are driven from the Islamic faith that ordains that food primarily be halaal and tayyab–which means it is rightful (and rightfully obtained) [halaal] and clean or pure or purified [tayaab]. While the need to be halaal is well-known and regulated, the specification of tayyab has not been spoken of that often. This is where the quality of being organic and purified of environmental pollution and contamination may fall. And this a quality we look into as we pan out our work on food, diet, cuisine and nutrition.
